Julien knockout Hailong to make it into Last-16

The Last-21 stage five matches of World Under-18 Snooker Championship were held today morning.


Seed 15 for knockout, Julien Leclercq of Belgium, played against Ma Hailong of China and defeated him 3-1 to confirm Last-16 berth. Julien was striking well and the frames he won, remained one-sided. He also crafted break of 64 in the third frame before closing the match proceedings. Julien will now meet second seed Zhao Jianbo in the Last 16-stage.

Chinese player Xing Zi Hao was quick to finish his match 3-0 against Ratchata Khantee of Thailand. Xing hardly shown any ball to Ratchata and scored breaks of 79, 51 and 57 to win 88-04, 63-02, 67-01.

Another Chinese player Deng Haohui went thru deciding frame to win against Sami Tousinezhad of Iran. Alternate frames wins put both the players in to the decide,r where Deng dominated and scored 80 points aginast 4 of Sami.
