Darren wins his maiden World 6Reds title

After having IBSF titles in different categories, Darren Morgan of Wales now succeeded to lift his maiden World 6Reds title. Today in the final he defeated Chau Man Hon of Hong Kong 6-4.

Darren shown excellent game throughout the championship. His break says all about his performances. During last 10 days he made 27 breaks and out of them 6 were 70+ and two he converted into maximum (75).

Today also he made 70 points break in second frame of the final match to make a comeback after losing first frame 0-40. Further he took all control and won three more frames to take 4-1 lead.

But the game was not over and Chau Hon Man made a comeback to get close and succeeded to win 3 more frames to curtail the lead 3-5 and gave tough fight in ninth frame too but that was not enough and Darren passed thru 38-21 to seal the match 6-4.

He has now become the second Welshman to win the IBSF World 6Reds after Duane Jones who won the inaugural championship in the year 2013.
