The fifth day of 2013 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship had only one session of group stage matches and after that the best 56 have been selected for knockout round which will start at 4 PM local time here in Beijing, China.

After completion of Group stage, Zhou Yuelong succeeded to gain top seed and gets bye to move into last 32. The other seven players those gets direct placement in last 32 are Lu Ning (China), Jamie Clarke (Wales), Oliver Lines (England), Ryan Thomerson (Australia), Chinnapat Kamsad (Thailand), Lin Shuai (China) and Niu Zhuang (China).

There are two more players those have not lost a single match in group stage are Zhang Yong (China) and Siyavosh Mozayani (Iran).

In Last 64 matches, Rahul Sachdev from India gave a shock defeat to Australia's Charlie Chafe. Charlie opened the frame with a magnificent 130 points clearance break and in second frame too he countered Rahul's 51 points break by producing 65 to gain 2-NIL lead. After that Rahul controlled everything and completely outplayed Charlie defeating 4-2.

Zhu Yinghui of China has not yet lost a single frame and if he continues the same way, he will get the top-seed for sure. Other players who are eying to be in top-8 those will move directly into last 32 are Jamie Clarke (Wales), Wang Yuchen (China), Michal Zielinski (Poland), Lu Ning (China), Zhou Yuelong (China), Zhao Xingtong (China) and Adam Stefanow (Poland).
