Amee shocks world champion Wendy Jans

Amee Kamani - India Amee Kamani - India IBSF Media

Amee Kamani from  India shocked the reigning world champion Wendy Jans of Belgium by defeating her in straight set of frames 3-0.

Amee was in a different zone and looks like she has done good preparation for this particular match. Amee countered the first frame very well to win narrowly. In second frame, she completely dominated and did not give any chance to Wendy. She imposed two impressive breaks of 46 and 57 to put extra pressure on Jans.

In third frame, Wendy blazed all the guns but again Amee countered extremely well to get applaud by crowd and win 3-0.

Thai player Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan was going well and won the first two frames but fell in danger zone as Nicola Illse Rossouw from South Africa played exceptionally well after that and snatched next two frames to set decider. In decider, Siripaporn played much cautiously and saved the match else could have suffered a defeat.
