Keishin Kamihashi from Japan pulled a sensational victory over Jackson Page of Wales to reach in pre-quarter final stage of IBSF World Under-18 Snooker Championship here at St. Petersburg, Russia.

16th seed Keishin struggled in first two frames and went down 0-2. The third frame was also not good but in do-or-die situation Keishin somehow managed a black ball victory and survived for next.

Fourth frame was also tough where Jackson made a break of 53 points but Keishin did not lose hope and recovered well on time to win the frame and set decider.

Once reached at par, Keishin played the decider with more confidence and gave a one-sided finish in last frame to enter pre-quarters.

The other matches in Last-32 were mostly one-sided and finished in straight set of frames 3-0.

However, there was bit disappointment for host nation as last two warriors Ivan Kakovsky and Nikolai Voevodin also lost their matches and now there is no challenge left from Russia.

Where Nikolai fought till last against Iranian player Hassan Zabihpour and lost 2-3, Ivan couldn't do much and lost to India's Kaavya Bharat in straight set of frames 0-3.
