Alok Kumar wins over Causier

Within 24 hours Alok Kumar from India takes his revenge by defeating David Causier in Long Up format, whom he lost in the final of 150Up format a day before. David Causier must have not imagined that so soon he will loss by the same opponent whom he defeated 24 hours ago to win the World title.

Dhingra lost to Thanh Long despite having good lead

Leads does not win matches, its only determination and hard work pays off. The same was clearly evident in the match between Jaiveer Dhingra and Thanh Long Nguyen, where Thanh, despite having trail of more than 100 points won the match. More important he did not produced any big break either in the beginning or even to recover from trail.

Geet, Causier and Peter exhibited fine touch of Billiards in Long-Up format

Geet Sethi, David Causier and Peter Gilchirst played finest billiards on the opening day of Long-Up Format World Championship.

Geet Sethi from India started well and won convincingly scoring 400 points against 203 of his compatriot Devendra Joshi. Two breaks of 142 and an unfinished 192 were enough for Geet to edge out Joshi who managed to score only a break of 82 points in the beginning.
