Peter Gilchrist walked smoothly into the semi-finals round of the 2016 IBSF World Billiards Long-Up format by defeating the Englishman Robert Hall in an almost one-sided affair.

The second session match of Day 2 between multiple time World champion, Peter Gilchrist of Singapore, and the much talented Indian youngster Dhvaj Haria was played at very high level and actually Gilchrist had to sweat hard to secure his match by merely 17 points.

Recently crowned with World Snooker amateur title and having earned the Pro Tour card for the next seasion, the Iranian fancied player Soheil Vahedi is in India for the ongoing 2016 IBSF World Billiards championship at Bengaluru.
