On second day of World Billiards 2018 – 150 Up format, Peter Gilchrist from Singapore got a last minute chance to save his group stage match against Aung San Oo of Myanmar but after making few points in deciding game, he missed out leaving open chance to Aung San Oo, who made balance points and won 3-2.

Former World No.1 Muhammad Asif of Pakistan was left stunned as he lost his third group stage match to unseeded Ko Htet of Myanmar. This will surely affect his seeding for the knockout stages.

India’s young billiards player, Dhvaj Haria has confirmed his second medal from the 2016 World Billiards championship and have got his name included in the set of Indian players like Geet Sethi, Devendra Joshi, Alok Kumar, Pankaj Advani and others who have won medals in both the formats during same year.
