Indian player Rafath Habib's 73 points clearance remained the high break of the day in 6Reds. He scored this break in fourth frame during his match against Alal Mimun Himad of Morocco. Though Rafath lost the match 4-3 but everybody had seen tough contest among the two to win the match.

Drastic loss for Soheil Vahedi

Mohamed Ibrahim of Egypt snatched his first 6Reds match making an upset of the day. He defeated former World No.4, Soheil Vahedi by winning the decider frame. Soheil Vahedi gave a brilliant start with a break of 67 points and had no major trouble in next two frames as well. Even in the fourth frame he had scored 32 points but it was the day for Mohamed Ibrahim who pulled that frame by scoring a break of 42 points.
