Andrew Pagett from Wales faced stiff competition where he had to put in all efforts to defeat former World Pro Ranked 64 and twice Asian Champion Yasin Merchant from India.
Soheil Vahedi of Iran was initially struggling in his morning session 6Reds match and lost first two frames against John-Henry Griffith of Wales. But timely he worked out on errors and turned the match upside down and won 4-2.

The 2016 IBSF World 6Red & Team Snooker Championship flags off today at Pyramisa Hotel and Resorts in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. These championships will be played for next 11 days and final matches of all five disciplines is scheduled on Saturday, 30th of July.
