Callum mark first dent in Chinees camp

The host nation China started well on the opening day of World Under-18 Snooker Championship 2019 ongoing in their coastal city Pingdu in Shandong Province.


Most of the players from China won their respective matches easily in first session on day 1. The matches had one-sided victory and finished very early. Peng Yisong, Zhao Jianbo, Deng Haohui Liu Hongyu Xie Xiang, etc. were the players from China who won their matches in straight frames 3-0 but couple of them fought hard and managed to win decider to keep the tally high for China.

Second session sent some disappointment in Chinese camp as Callum Beresford of England marked first dent by defeating one of their key player Deng Haohui. He beat Deng in straight set of frames 3-0.

There was no big problem for Callum in winning the first frame where he scored 59 against 09 points of Deng.

Deng, however, tried to equal the score and scored 34 points but Callum break of 66 shattered him he trailed 0-2 In third frame also, Callum dominated and closed the proceeding by winning that 55-16.
