Polish girls started on winning node

On second day of 2013 IBSF World Team Snooker championship in women's category, Polish girls started on a winning node. Team Poland 2 comprises of Agata Czerwinska and Weronika Nowicka dominated since start and defeated team Ireland 2 (Sandra Bryan and Michelle French) 2-1. In the first frame, Agata took on Sandra Bryan and kept scoring small but effective points wherever she was getting chance. That resulted in frame win for Poland by a good margin 64-20. In the next frame, another Polish girl Weronika Nowicka defeated Michelle French 49-25. However, the doubles frame went in favour of team Ireland but Poland had already registered win over Ireland.


However, the the other team from Poland (Oliwia Lachowicz and Maria Debska) lost to team Thailand 3-Nil. Amournrat Uamduang defeated Oliwia 61-4, Siraphat Chitchomnart defeated Maria Debska 54-01, and doubles 68-06.

Indian duos, Chitra M. and Varsha Sanjeev completely washed out team Ireland 3 (Catherine Fitzsimons and Emily Talbot) 3-Nil. In all three frames, Irelands could not score in double digit and lost 71-04, 65-03, 64-06.

The Indian duos further went ahead in next session and won 2-1 against Hong Kong 2. Where Chitra clinched the frame on black ball from Ip Wan In Jaique, Varsha lost the next frame to Yu Ching. The doubles frame also went close that India won 52-42 to seal the match 2-1.

Whereas team India 1 comprises of Vidya Pillai and Arantxa Sanchis also registered win over Ireland1 2-1. Though Arantxa lost the first frame to Michelle Sherwin 30-64 but after that Vidya Pillai clinch the next frame 59-26 and in doubles she made a break of 41 to win the frame 65-39.
