Mohammed Rais Senzahi of Afghanistan produced rousing recovery form 0-3 down and then 2-4 down to win the match 5-4 against player from host nation Ahmed Saif in the Qatar 6Red World Cup 2019.
Saif looked to be in the driving seat when he pinched the three frames back-to-back crafting first break of 51 but Senzahi made a strong comeback and clinched next two frames to cut the deficit 2-3.
Once again, Saif bounced back to win one more frame and raised the lead to 4-2. He was only a frame away to register match win but Senzahi held his nerves much better and captured next three frames in a row to succeed 5-4.
