Mohammad Bilal of Pakistan is set to play the final of Asian Tour 10Reds Snooker 2018 ongoing here in QBSF Academy in Doha, Qatar. In the semi-final match, he beat Cheung Ka Wai of Hong Kong 5-4.

It was a crucial match for Bilal and certainly he faced a stiff competition. He started like a champion but after winning first two frames, he struggled and went down to trail 2-3.

From there he recovered once again and snatched two more frames to lead 4-3. But Cheung was not interested to give away that easy and he won eighth frame to set decider. In the last frame, Bilal held his nerve better and curtailed Cheung on one point to beat him 62-01 and won 5-4.

He will now take on Brendan O’Donoghue of Ireland who claimed biggest victory of the championship by defeating 19-time world champion Pankaj Advani in a straight set of frames 5-0.

Full marks to Brendan that he played very sensible throughout the match knowing the strengths of Pankaj Advani. He constantly kept Advani on the back seat and claimed frames over frame to knockout the tournament favourite Pankaj Advani.

The final will now be played at 4:00 PM for the Best of 11 Frames.
