Pongsakorn Chongjairak - Thailand Pongsakorn Chongjairak - Thailand IBSF Media
Thai player Pongsakorn Chongjairak knocked out the Austrian No.1 and current World No.3 Florian Nüβle by winning the deciding frame of best of 7 in Last-32 stage of 2018 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship here in Jinan, China

Despite having a strong resume, Florian didn’t show any great control over the game. It appeared to be a quick finish of match in his favour but other way Pongsakorn gave him tough fight to lead over him throughout and later won the decider.

Florian initiated with a frame win having break of 69 but Pongsakorn responded for his break by posting two breaks of 74 and 108 in next two frames. After that one more of 56 points in fifth frame to maintain the lead 3-2.

However, Florian once again returned to the game by winning the sixth frame but in decider Pongsakorn took good lead and maintained his supremacy in the match. Though Florian got a chance on last red to clear from last red onwards but in those pressure moments, he missed that very simple red pot in centre pocket allowing Pongaskorn to confirm his match win, which he did easily.
