Andrew Pagett - Wales Andrew Pagett - Wales IBSF Media

Last year’s No.2 Andrew Pagett of wales struggled in third frame against Josh Gorski of Australia, who pulled that frame showing some quality potting.

That was alert sign for Andrew as he quickly got back to his rhythm and posted 66 points break to continue on his lead. Gorski wasn’t far behind and took initial lead of 38 points in fifth frame, which Andrew covered with another quality break of 57 to close it 4-1.

Wendy turned into break machine this morning and posted four breaks in total three frames she played. First frame saw 47 and 34, followed by 43 and 65 in last two. Her opponent Pui Ying Chu couldn’t even reach into double-digit score in any frame and faltered against Wendy’s exceptionally high-quality game.

Anastasia, though won her match, but experienced close contest against Indian girl, Varshaa Sanjeev. Three out of four frames ended on black ball game, where two Anastasia won to secure 3-1 win.
