Mike Russell enters the medal-round of Long up format

Englishman Mike Russell has confirmed his berth for the medals round of 2017 World Billiards (Long Up format) ousting Myanmar’s Aung Htay by a huge margin.
Mike exhibited excellence of billiards and crafted breaks of 344, 219, 278 to reach 1000 mark in around 90 minutes. Whereas Aung Htay managed to score a single break of 72 points in between to settle with 175 only.
Mike will now take on winner of Pankaj Advani and Peter Gilchrist in the semi-final bout, which will be played tomorrow at 10AM Doha time. The match can also be watched LIVE ON ALKASS TV (http://www.alkass.net/alkass/live.aspx?ch=five)
