Advani to meet Russell in the final of World Billiards 150Up IBSF Media

The clash of titans set for tomorrow morning in the final of 2017 IBSF World Billiards 150 Up championship where two best of the world will contest for the trophy.

Where legendary player Mike Russell confirmed his berth ousting Peter Gilchrist in one semi-final, another legend of cue-sports Pankaj Advani knocked out three time world champion Rupesh Shah 5-2 to go for the title.

The semi final between Advani and Rupesh appeared to be a toddling match initially as both complimented each other with quality breaks till 2-all, but when Rupesh gave him a chance after scoring 90 points break in fifth game it became a lopsided as Advani shown his class with heavy scoring in rest of the three games to close the proceedings 5-2.

His clearance off 151 points break in 6th game was outstanding followed by 57 and 91 points break in the last game.
