IBSF would like to inform that Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation will now host the 2017 IBSF World Billiards championship (150Up and Long Up formats) from 9th November till 15th November 2017 at QBSF Academy in Doha, Qatar.
The IBSF is thankful for this great gesture shown by Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation that without any hesitation they sent bid to host Snooker as well as Billiards championship for the year 2017 in Doha.
Entry for the Championships have already been started and Member Countries can now enter their players’ names and details on IBSF Online Entry System using their login credentials. Closing date for entries is 24th October 2017.
Each country can send maximum six (06) players per tournament (+) the previous year IBSF Champion. Each region is also allowed to enter winner of their regional championship.
Please note that the countries who have not paid the IBSF Annual Membership Fee will not be allowed to enter their players. It is hereby requested to pay the IBSF Annual Membership to avoid such disqualifications.
Entry fee for the competition is USD 70.00 per player per championship and must pay to the IBSF Treasurer before the start of championships.
The referees and players meeting will be held on the 8th November 2017 followed by the Opening Ceremony. Play will start at on the 9th November.
