Narongdat Takantong - Thailand Narongdat Takantong - Thailand IBSF Media

Thai player Narongdat contributed a match winning break of 77 points in the deciding frame against Austrian player Oskar Charlesworth on second day of 2017 IBSF World Under-21 Boys Snooker championship being played here in Beijing, China.

Narongdat had lost his first match yesterday against Chinese player Junxu Pang and now being down 2-1 in today’s match must have given him extra pressure to perform. He took that as challenge and recovered from there to win the fourth frame followed by the next to take 3-2 lead.

He was eying to close the proceedings as early by winning the sixth frame but unfortunately that frame got slipped from his hands by merely 2 points and he had to enter in the deciding frame.

In that situation he shown his determination and held his nerve well to craft 77 points break to win the match 4-3. The break of 77 in decider was certainly remained a quality break, which he crafted very precisely slicing each red from the bunch and registered his first win in this event.
