Brian, Noel recovered on time to save their respective matches

Maltese player Brian Cini was down by two frames against Ronan Whyte of Ireland in his first match of IBSF World Under-21 Boys competition.

In third frame he got a chance and converted that into a big break of 77 points to narrow down the deficit. Even after that he sent contribution of 30 and then 25 points break to come at level.

After some initial hurdles, he cleared the fifth frame also which he won 74-21 and again in the sixth frame he crafted break of 60 points to register his first win of the tournament.

Similarly Noel Landers of Ireland recovered from 3 frames down and crafted two frames of 63 and 89 followed by much controlled game to win his match against Digvijay Kadian 4-3. The deciding frame was dicey where Digvijay fought back but fall short and Noel cleared the match with required pink and black.
