Alok knocks out Hall

A high quality match of Last-16 stage between two Ex World No.2 players Alok Kumar of India and Robert Hall of England, landed up in favour of Alok 4-1.

Both the players countered each other having high scores but every time Alok passed through marginally and secured the 4-1 win to end roads for the Englishman.

In first game, Hall scored break of 71 but he fall short by 10 points to reach 150 and Alok having aid of 94 points break, cleared up to take 1-0 lead.

Similarly despite having breaks of 87 and 88, Hall missed out both of them at crucial stage leaving chances to Alok, which he gave a perfect finish crafting breaks of 90 and 54 in second, and 69 in third to take up his lead to 3-nil.

However, Hall somehow managed to pull back one game to narrow down the lead, but again he missed a centre pocket red pot on 143 and Alok posted an outstanding break of 101 point to close the proceedings 4-1.
