English player Robert Hall shown his class of act in the three balls game of ‘English Billiards’ and that too against one of the top-line Billiards player Devendra Joshi of India.
The clash of titans began from the start only where Joshi pulled up the first game by 9 points and obtained initial lead.
In second game, Hall got the first breakthrough and he compiled break of 81 but before he could convert into win, Joshi countered that and won the second game too.
Already down 2 games, Hall curbed himself from playing any kind of loose shot and crafted two small but compelling breaks of 61 and 53 to pocket third game.
After that he did not look behind and complied breaks of 121 in fourth and lastly two breaks of 84 and 50 to register 3-2 win over Joshi.
Although the decider was extremely competitive where Joshi also made 50 points break to score total 121 but Hall proved him better to reach at 150 mark first.
