Anxiously waiting to play his first match in the 2016 World Championship, the German player Lukas Kleckers explode with a crackling break of 107 points. Lukas played against Jason Todd of New Zealand and defeated him in a one-sided affair 4-nil.

Though all three players in Group B i.e. Lukas, Jason Todd and Simon Lindblom of Sweden have already confirmed their entry in single elimination round as the other two players from the group Batsukh Baldandorj (Mongolia) and Dongmin Kim (Korea) had ‘No-Show’. With this reason Lukas played his first match today.

Even after posting century break in first frame, he made another break of 51 points to confirm his command over the match. However, Jason tried to curtail him in next two frames but Lukas was more determined and constantly converting all the chances into decisive scores that leads him to 4-nil win.

Meanwhile the defending champion Pankaj Advani continues his winning streak. He has already confirmed his berth for the knockout by winning all three matches he played so far. Even he is ahead of all with frame win ratio as he has not yet lost a single frame. If he maintains this momentum, for sure, he will acquire the top-seed slot for the knockouts.

Today he played his third match against Marcin Nitschke of Poland and dashed him 4-nil. Though there were no big breaks but the win was comfortable and one-sided.
