Chitra stuns Tatjana; Anastasia recovered well on time

Indian player Chitra Magimairaj caused the early exit of former European champion, Tatjana Vasiljeva (Latvia) defeating her 4-2 today in the last-16 match.
Chitra was in good form and applied all the tactics to counter her and gain first lead. She was soon leading 3-0 when Tatjana attempted recovery and pulled back two frames, infact one on black ball game.
Chitra was well aware of her strength of making good recovery, hence she did not give any chance further and sealed the sixth frame 63-34 sending back one of the tournament favourite.
Russian girl, Anastasia Nechaeva was down 2 frames but woke up on time and posted significant breaks of 46, 38 and 30 to clinch three frames in a row to gain 3-2 lead. She continued that zeal ahead also and won the sixth frame too to knockout former World Under-21 champion, Jessica Woods of Australia 4-2.
In other matches, Wendy Jans of Belgium, Vidya Pillai and Amee Kamani from India faced no big hurdle and won their matches 4-0. Wendy beats Diana Stateczny of Germany, Vidya beat Jennifer Zehentner of Germany and Amee Kamani beat Amy Claire King of South Africa to reach in quarter finals.
