Struggling win for Phisit in last league match

The reigning World Masters Champion Phisit Chandsri from Thailand struggled against Ivan Attard of Malta in the last league match but later scored a magnificent break of 55 to have a fantastic finish of the match.

Turbulence for Phisit started from the first frame only that Ivan capitalized and won with a decent margin. However, he fought back and recovered in next frame to come at par and further gained lead scoring break of 46 in third frame but couldn't save the fourth which he lost by 2 points. Ivan could be dangerous in decider but Phisit curtailed him well giving no chance and scored break of 55 to seal the match 3-2.

In men's category, Tetsuya Kuwata of Japan made an impressive break of 95 in second frame of his match against Ben Jones of Wales. Later Kuwata won the match 4-2
