The youngest player of this championship, 13 years old Yazan Alhadad from Syria, blanked Tunisian player Harzallah Oussema and won 4-0.
Yazan was seen determined and was striking well. The first two frames were close and almost finished in same manner but in third frame, Yazan controlled well and won with a good margin.
Harzallah, who was looking unhappy the way he played, did not continue after that and conceded the fourth frame against Yazan.
In women's category, India's ace player Vidya Pillai thrashed Australia's Jessica Woods. Vida was in good form and dominated the entire match her way. In second and third frame, Vidha scored breaks of 57 and 52 points to seal the match 75-25, 74(57)-05, 83(52)-31 and won 3-0.
