Advani reaches in medals round

The defending champion from India, Pankaj Advani has now reached in the medals round of IBSF World Billiards Championship 2015 being played here at Adelaide, South Australia.

Advani, who has conquered all the opponents one-sided so far, faced no problem in brushing aside his compatriot, Devendra Joshi, and routs him 4-1 in quarter finals.

Playing with an attacking form, Advani did not give any chance to Joshi in second and third game where he scored breaks of 148 and 121 to gain 3-0 lead.  Though Joshi made an unfinished break of 150 points in fourth game but that was not enough to stop the storm called Advani. Next game he backed with an unfinished break of 152 to close the proceedings and confirmed medal of his country.

In medals round he will meet the Nalin Patel of England who defeated David Collins of Australia 4-1. Collins managed to win only second game and in rest of the games, Nalin dominated and and made it thru.
