Joshi made it thru to last-8, will meet Advani

Devendra Joshi v/s. Pankaj Advani Devendra Joshi v/s. Pankaj Advani IBSF Media

Devendra Joshi from India reached the quarter finals stage of IBSF World Billiards (150-Up) Championships 2015 after finishing an interesting match against his compatriot Dhruv Sitwala.

Joshi played fabulous in first three games and gained 3-0 lead over Dhruv. In fact the fourth game was about to land in his favour but he missed on 125 and that chance was well used by Dhruv to start his recovery.

After that Dhruv controlled the next two games and set decider but his all efforts went in vain as Joshi played well and crafted break of 98 to seal the match 4-3.

He will now take on the defending champion, Pankaj Advani from India who defeated Chul Ho Hwang of South Korea in straight set of games, 4-0. The first two games were dicey where Chul had reached at a score of 147 and 111 but Advani was more alert and made it thru 4-0.
