Sourav Kothari of India exhibited fantastic break building in third game to wrap up his match against his compatriot Aditya Agrawal, 3-nil.
Kothari who was controlling the match since start with a break of 143 in opening frame and 69 in next had actually not allowed Aditya to settle at any stage. But in third game, Agrawal, was anxiously waiting to clinch a game from the jaws of kothari, put his all efforts to get a break-thru in third game. Infact Aditya was on verge of winning that game but missed red in-off on top pocket on a score of 145.
Kothari, who was down by 80 points in that game, did not waste that chance and played like a champion and crafted a magnificent break of exact 80 points to cover those trailing points and secure the match by winning last game 150-145.
Another Indian player and defending champion Pankaj Advani was also found in good run and won his first match comfortably 3-0 by crafting breaks of 75, 141 and 141 against Jason Colebrook of Australia.
