On the second last day of 2015 IBSF World 6Reds Championship, six players from the host country have reached in pre-quarter finals.

Where Asjad Iqbal, Shahram Changezi, Mohammad Bilal and former World Champion Muhammad Asif were comfortable in reaching last-16, Babar Masih and Shahid Aftab grinded well to secure the places.

Babar faced well-known player from UAE, Moahammed Al Joaker and was down 2-3, when he posted two breaks of 35 and 71 in 6th and 8th frame to set decider. In decider, Babar dominated well and knocked out Joaker 46-19.

Shahid Aftab also faced another great name in snooker, Saleh Mohammadi of Afghanistan. Saleh played good snooker and was leading 3-1 when Shahid countered him by winning next three frames to step ahead 4-3. However, Saleh captured 8th frame on black ball to leveled the game but Shahid did not give any chance to him and crafted brilliant break of 50 points to win the decider and match as well.
