Double delight for Thailand. Boonyarit & Siripaporn are new champions

Its double delight for Thailand as their top players Boonyarit Keattikun and Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan won the boys and girls category title of IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship 2015.

In girls' category, title for Thailand was confirmed yesterday only when both the Thai players Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan and Nutcharat Wongharuthai had reached the finals and today Siripaporn faced no big hurdle in brushing aside her compatriot to add another trophy in her profile. Joint Bronze medalists were Varsha Sanjeev of India and Nikoleta Nikolova of Bulgaria

In boys' category Boonyarit was leading 7-4 and was a frame away from victory when Jamie Clarke of Wales put more pressure of decider on Boonyarit by winning three frames in a row. However, Boonyarit handled the pressure much wisely and imposed a match winning break of 53 points to claim the title.

It remained an impressive run by both the players. Where Boonyarit was exhibiting best game of snooker, Jamie was also not behind to impress the audience the way he made recovery. And again in last, Boonyarit's controlled break of 53 points was the real gold of entire match.

Worth mentioning, Boonyarit attempted for maximum (147) also in the sixth frame but went out of position for 9th black and missed. His position was perfect for pink, but he opted black to continue for maximum.

Joint Bronze medals were won by Josh Boileau of Ireland and Wang Yuchen of China.
