Sourav started today's campaign with a good break

Sourav Kothari of India started on a great node with a break of 68 en routing 4-0 victory over Polish guy Patryk Maslowski. He was again best in second frame and sealed comfortably 66-23.

However, in next two frames, Patryk got some scoring shots and contested well but Kothari remained in his best and sealed the frames 70-59 and 53-46 and won the match 4-0.

This is Kothari's 5th consecutive match win and he has lost only three frames so far. His last match is tomorrow against Mohammed Alshamsi of UAE before he go ahead to knockout stage.

Current world No.2 Zhao Xintong of China made 121 clearance break in third frame of his match against Muhammad Faaris Khan of South Africa. Zhao had already pocketed first two frame before producing this massive break and followed by another break of 60 points to outclass Khan 4-0.

Reigning World Under-21 (Girls) champion Jessica Woods of Australia spent tough time to save her match against India's Judy Walia by winning decider frame with 10 points difference.

Judy started the campaign with a decent break of 34 points and sealed the first frame but after that the whole match swung like a pendulum where both the players reached the decider. Both of them played good snooker and made tough for each other to snatch the frame but in the end Jessica proved her supremacy to win the match.

Denise Santos of Philippines set high break of women's group. She scored an impressive break of 91 in second frame and later she defeated Irina Gorbataya of Russsia 3-0.

Her overall scoring was also impressive and striking correct most of the time. The next high break in women's group is 72 by Ng On Yee followed by Wendy Jan's 57.
