Hall, Bolton and Kumar are front runner for topseed in knockouts

The 150 Up event of World Billiards 2014 is stepping ahead towards the knockout stage from round-robin. As of now third session is on and two more sessions to go before the knockout draw gets ready.

Most of the big names have already qualified for the knockouts. Robert Hall (England), Matthew Bolton (Australia) and Alok Kumar (India) are front-runners to get topseed as all three have played three matches and not yet lost a single game.

Today Robert Hall exhibited good breaks in all three games he played against his compatriot Arthur Winn. He made 131, 82 and 57 points breaks to win the match 3-0. Third game was quite close where Arthur made scored total 129 points before losing to Hall.

Last night the match between Larry Drennan (Ireland) and Arthur Winn (England) remained the closest victory margin match where first two games finished on 2 and 1 points difference, third game had 14, and fifth game with 8 points difference. The only game that had good victory margin was fourth game. Scoreline: 148-150, 150-149, 136-151, 150(61)-23, 150-142.
