Team Poland 3 started the campaign with 5-0 win

The team Poland 3 comprises of Kacper Filipiak and Mateusz Baranowski started their campaign in the World Team championships with a cracking win of 5-0 against team UAE 2 (Mohammed Alshamsi and Saif Alketbi).

Kacper started the proceedings of won the first frame quite convincingly 71-19 against Mohammed Alshamsi. The next one went close where Mateusz Baranowski managed to clinch the frame on black ball (59-56) but after that they both had won rest of the frames and registered big victory margins. The doubles score was 70-14 and reverse singles they won 56-16 and 63-01.

In Women's team event, Russian Woman Daria Sirotina crafted impressive breaks of 60 and 47 against Egyptian player Gantan Elaskary. However Gantan had managed to defeat another Russian woman Anastasia Nechaeva in the last frame 52-44 and narrowed the victory margin for Russia 4-1.
