The former World Champion Hossein Vafaei Ayouri from Iran has now added another feather in his cap by winning World Under-21 Snooker title today here in Fujairah, UAE. In the final he defeated Josh Boileau of Ireland 8-3 in best of fifteen frames final.

More or less this championship remained one-sided affair for Hossein and it was evident that others players are playing to win No.2 position. The only tough challenge Hossein received was from Ryan Thomerson of Australia who pulled him at par till the fourth frame before losing 6-4 in the quarter finals.

Before this, Hossien had won 2011 IBSF World Championship in Bangalore (India) and 2012 Asian Under-21 championship in Goa (India).

He got the 2 years professional ticket after winning 2011 world title but could not go because of visa issues. He hopes his visa issues gets resolved now so that he can go and perform in professional tour.
