Krzysztof Wrobel from Poland entered into Quarter finals

Krzysztof Wrobel - Poland Krzysztof Wrobel - Poland IBSF Media

Out of total 8 men players from Poland, Krzysztof Wrobel is the only one to keep hopes alive for the country. Today morning in Last 16 match against Soheil Vahedi from Iran, Wrobel played exceptionally well and kept full control on entire match to knockout Iranian challenge Vahedi.

Vahedi had some chances to return but failed to stand in front of strategic play of Wrobel and bowed down to him 2-4.

Wroble will now take on India's Shivam Arora, who blanked his compatriot and ace snooker player Manan Chandra 4-Nil. Playing brilliant from the very first frame, Shivam did not allowed Manan to settle at any stage once the first chance was missed by Manan in first frame after scoring 12 points. Shivam's break of 57 and 60 points in last two frames were worth watching.

The other quarter finalists are, Darren Morgan (Wales) vs. Michael Judge (Ireland); Ian Sargeant (Wales) vs. Duane Jones (Wales); and Adrian Ridley (Australia) vs. Fung Kwok Wai (Hong Kong).

Worth mentioning Adiran Ridley upset today Muhammad Asif from Pakistan 4-1. Adrian finished the match by crafting spectacular break of 70 points.
