Internet connection speed: Your ability to receive IBSF TV does depend on the speed of your internet connection - you should have a reliable broadband ADSL to be able to view IBSF TV.
IBSF TV uses the world's most powerful video streaming servers, which can simultaneously broadcast to thousands of people at a time. So if there is an issue with your download of live or archived content, it will be down to your own Internet Service Provider - they may not always give what is promised!
To make sure your broadband ADSL or cable connection gives you enough 'bandwidth', click on the free link below:
If the download has problems (eg not able to instantly view the video, picture not smooth, not able to view every shot) then make sure you don't have any email or internet search programmes running, and that no one else is downloading any files anywhere else in your house - (EG from YouTube!) when you are streaming the file.
Alternatively come back a bit later in the day or earlier the next day in case there is a bottleneck in your local server with a lot of people using the internet at the same time in your immediate location.
Lastly, if you are still not experiencing smooth video instantly with great sound and picture quality go to www.speedtest.net - this is a great website where you can easily test your internet access speed. Just follow the simple instructions on the screen that will show your 'Upload' and 'Download' speeds. You are looking for an 'Upload' speed of 500kbps or more ('Download speed will make no difference to your ability to receive IBSF TV).
If your 'Upload' speed is less than 500kbps, contact your Interent Service Provider who should be able to help you increase your speed or identify whether there is a fault in your line.
