IBSF Development Fund
As announced during the IBSF AGM in Syria, the IBSF is today very proud to announce the creation of the IBSF Development Fund.
This fund is intended to help all Federations who are members of the IBSF and are financially up to date with their annual affiliation fees, to receive the opportunity of applying for a special grant from the IBSF for a Sport project.
You will find attached to this letter an application form to identify and describe your project.
This submission document will be examined by a specially appointed Committee composed by all of the Regional Presidents, the IBSF President and IBSF sponsors representatives.
The Committee will have an allocated annual budget and therefore will not be able to accept all the projects that will be submitted, so for this reason it is very important that the description of your project is as complete in its details as possible.
The IBSF Development Fund Committee will be particularly considerate and sensitive to the presentation of your projects with regards to the following criteria:
- Relevance of the project in a global sports scenario
- Project open to all players
- Training & Education
- Coaching
- Referee course
- Parity men / women
- Budgeting and Financing
If your project is selected you will receive financial help from the IBSF Development Fund, but you will be required to inform and justify the use of all funds received from the IBSF.
I sincerely hope that many of you will submit to the IBSF your projects related to the development and promotion of our sport.
The IBSF will be very happy to contribute and help you in your efforts.
