It is with sadness that we mourn the passing of Bill Telford, tireless worker for Billiards and Snooker in Northern Ireland and Europe, and IBSF Treasurer from 2000 to December 2004.

Bill occupied many positions and served on many committees in these organizations. He gave dedicated service over a very long period of time, dedicating a big part of his life to the sport that he loved.

He became quite an identity in his own right. He was very passionate about his Billiards and Snooker, and strongly voiced his opinions at committee meetings and at the A.G.M’s.

During our last meeting in Wels, Austria, he described to me his passion for the latest internet and website technology, and how he took great pleasure from the technological advances that had been made and the animations that were available today.

He will be sadly missed.
