I was fortunate enough during the last World Championships in Sheffield to have a meeting with Sir Rodney Walker, Chairman of the WPBSA and Jim McMahon, WPBSA Board Member.

During this time of a very pleasant lunch, we had an opportunity to talk about the past, current and of our future relationships!

Sir Rodney confirmed to me that WBPSA will accept to assist the IBSF progress in its mission of promoting and developing our sport.

It now remains for us to define together how to achieve this opportunity of a positive association with the WPBSA, which can only be beneficial to the IBSF and our sport.

I have immediately offered to all IBSF Board Members the challenge to reflect and consider how we should develop these positive proposals and thoughts which will be submitted to the WPBSA for their consideration.

I hope these suggestions will soon lead to a successful conclusion and that all members of the IBSF will benefit from this new cooperation between the professional and the amateur sport.
