Each IBSF Country Member hosting a World Championship has the opportunity after the competition, to either sell the Championship tables, retain the tables for their own benefit, or to send back the tables to Wiraka and have the added burden of paying the shipping costs.

For this reason, the IBSF is receiving from Wiraka a grant where both Wiraka and the IBSF are trying to make the opportunity of keeping the tables, as beneficial and as interesting as possible.

In addition to a special price for the new IBSF-Wiraka tables, we have in cooperation with the Chinese Company decided to give a special value and individual acknowledgement to the tables.

For the first time in Singapore for the World Billiards each of the tables are equiped with a metal plate "Special Collector"

The name of the Championships, the date and location, plus the name of the World Champion and his signature are on the metal plate, to give each of the tables used in the Championships an extra special collectors valueand a part of the history of our sport.

Each club or person who buys a Championship table will be sure to have a top quality table as well as an important collectors piece, as only the Championship edition tables used in the Championships will be available to purchase.

With a such positive initiative, the hosting country of an IBSF event will have an extra special reason to sell the tables after the Championships.

In the near future, the IBSF will propose to its members a guide book called "20 Good Reasons to Host an IBSF World Championship" and I wonder now if I need to update this book to add maybe a 21st reason ??
