It is with great pleasure that I inform you that the IBSF is now ready to propose the creation of a 6 Reds Snooker World Championship.

The draft and the concept were presented and well received during our last AGM in Hyderabad, November 24th.

Since this presentation the IBSF has completed 2 specific documents for this special World Championship :

- The 6 Reds Snooker IBSF conditions that summarize the whole organization of the World Championships

- The 6 Reds Snooker IBSF bid form a document which is specifically created for the Federations who would like to organize this competition.

You will find that in perfect harmony with the concept of the game these documents have been specially designed to be simpler, clearer and more comprehensive.

I am very proud of the audacity of the IBSF which has decided, despite a sporting calendar already very heavy, to introduce a new World Championship, demonstrating to us its interest to a new fashion game, quick, fast and dynamic.

This 6 Reds Snooker World Championship will be the opportunity for the IBSF to present exclusive new game rules, especially adapted to bring a new dimension to the game.
