Although each year the IBSF normally continues to expand, unfortunately this year seven countries have been suspended during the IBSF AGM in Hyderabad November 24th.

This reflects a failure to pay the USD 300 annual affiliation fees.

The seven Federations suspended in 2009 are:

Libya
Mongolia
Indonesia
Hungary
Iceland
Saudi
Sudan

It would be my real wish to see as soon as possible, the financial situation of these Federations quickly improve to enable the suspensions to be lifted, so that during the IBSF Championships we will again have the pleasure to welcome the players, delegates and officials of these countries.
