This is the letter I’ve sent to Capt Mohan, President of the BSFI after the World Championship in Hyderabad

Dear Capt Mohan, Dear Friend,

I want to personally extend my sincere thanks for the IBSF World Championship which just finished in Hyderabad.

Your Federation has produced one of the best IBSF sporting events and this deserves to be highlighted.

The selected hotels, the splendid competition area, buffet lunch or the different gala diner organized are in my opinion the demonstration of the effectiveness of your Federation to worry about the welfare of delegations and I'm sure you can be proud of what you have done with your team.

I said in my closing speech but I say willingly, the Indian hospitality and kindness of all those involved in the organization is not a legend.

We have faced together with many difficulties both in the preparation or during the management of these championships.

A sporting event of this magnitude can’t be prepared without contingencies and it is a situation that IBSF knows every year.

You managed to triumph for the sole benefit of sport to all snares and your ability to respond to ever find a solution worthy of my admiration.

While some critics have reached you be sure they do not tarnish the brilliance of the Championships and the credit you deserve.

There are unfortunately people who see only the negative side or the details but I can reassure you, all the participants present at Hyderabad will remember the memory of an outstanding competition.

We say in France that "only those who do nothing make no mistakes" and saying this should remind you that you have found a challenge and have successfully demonstrated to the World the organizational capacity of the Indian Federation .

Your personal merit is all the more remarkable given the sad events that have affected you during the compétition

Whether your team all the partners who have supported you in the preparation and management of these World Championships are thanked for their work and congratulated for this outstanding result.
